Going through withdrawls

I haven't able to get on the computer much lately. Too busy packing. We're trying to eat up the food we have so I haven't needed to run to the store. I miss shopping! I swear I'm a shop-a-holic and the couponing thing just give me a way to do it cheaply! Plus we need this stuff anyway right?? lol

We officially move on Tuesday, wish us luck! 11 hours with a toddler and 2 cats is not my idea of a good time.

So I will be back up an running after Memorial Day weekend I hope.

Its Official!

Hubby took a job in Cadillac this morning. So buy the end of the month we will officially be Michiganders again! So in the following weeks I'm going to begin doing Glen's Market match-ups. As that is the local grocery store. I'm also going to do Meijer and Target Highlights. I may add more after we get all settled in and I explore the area more.

A quick update

Its been a while. We've been pretty busy lately. We went up to MI at the beginning of March for my cousins wedding. It was beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen her this happy. And I am truly happy for the both of them and wish them tons of well wishes.

While we were in MI we also had Aubree's 2nd birthday party. She had a BLAST! She loves playing with her cousins. My sister, Jenn, begged me to let her stay overnight, and I let her. I still cant believe I was able to leave her over night!! Granted, Jenn is the only one other than our parents I think we would feel comfortable with. She has 7 kids, and they are all still alive so I think that makes her qualified! lol The in-laws got her this enormous Minnie Mouse. Its seriously 5 foot tall!

Adam interviewed in Traverse City. We're still waiting to hear something. They think maybe next week. We are so ready. My dad is plotting all the extra money he is going to make with Adam doing side work. My mom and I are going to do the farmers market. Really excited about that!

After our trip to MI my parents came here for Aub's actual birthday! Busy Busy! We always take her to the zoo on her birthday, sadly this year it was cold and most of the animals weren't out. But she loved the meerkats!

Thats all for now I suppose. I'm probably going to start changing my blog around soon. When we move I want to try to keep up with the local grocery stores, and I dont know of any blogs that do. So I am going to take it on. Plus I might start doing a craft day and a recipe day. Not too sure, but I want to grow my blog. And advice or ideas are welcome!

Keeping our fingers crossed

Last night Adam received a discouraging email from the PowerGen Manager at the Traverse City, MI branch. They have slowed down and will not be filling the empty position. Darn. But he did say that the Grand Rapids branch was looking for somebody and that he had forwarded Adam's information to them.

Adam decided to call them to make sure they had received the information and just to talk to them a bit about their branch. The Manager was very happy to hear from Adam. I guess they were very interested in him and were going to call, they just weren't sure if he would be up for a 10 hour trip to interview. Little did they know he will do anything to get back into Power Gen Field Service.

So we should find out the beginning of next week if the Managers boss is interested in having us come up for an interview. Super exciting!
